Since it's start in 1991, Avery County Habitat for Humanity has built 26 homes, changing the lives of well over 100 men, women, and children!

Avery County Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. Opportunities are available for groups from outside of the Avery County area to be involved in our ministry. Check the links above for information on how your group can serve in this important mission.
